Count It All Joy! James 1:2
When I was a teenager, I hated school and had low self-esteem. I struggled with teenage issues silently and as a result made silent decisions that affected my life profoundly. Now, in my late-forties I know that life happens, mistakes happen… you have to forgive yourself, trust yourself, and learn to love yourself.
Like many, I have a story –a story full of life lessons. My heart’s desire is to make a difference in the lives of everyone I come in contact with. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and we are all interconnected. I believe that it is my destiny to be a beacon of hope. My unique perspective and sincere heart allows me to connect with every person that I interact with.
Through C.H.A.R.M., I have been given the opportunity to make my mess my message. I am thankful to have the responsibility of bettering the lives of our youth.
Our motto is: "Meeting You Where You Are." It is my belief that you can't force civility or morality on anyone, nor can you guide them through the eyes of condemnation. Knowing this, I will meet each of our program participants where they are.
I believe you have the power to change, the courage to face your fears, and the wisdom to make intelligent decisions.
Welcome to our family. I thank you in advance for entrusting me and allowing me to be a part of your journey.
